RYA Radar Course
This one day course is increasingly popular for both sailing yachts and powerboats. Radar is an invaluable aid for navigation and collision avoidance and it is more useful in the hands of a knowledgeable operator.

Course Content:
Basic understanding of radar and radar set controls. Plotting and collision avoidance. Navigation techniques.
Ability After Course:
Understands how to use radar in a small boat.

Additional RYA Radar Course dates can be scheduled for groups of 3 or more.
Scheduled RYA Radar courses are held at Ocean Quay Marina (between Ocean Village Marina and Shamrock Quay Marina) Southampton, Hampshire UK and in the Solent area.
If you have a group (Minimum of 4 people) from your boat club, marina, boat crew or just friends then we can travel to your area and provide a Radar course to suit your schedule. Please contact Duck-2-Water for further information.
