In order to obtain the International Certificate of Competence (ICC) for Inland Waterways the CEVNI test must be undertaken.

Course Information
This online test comprises of multiple choice questions which if you are confident of your signs, symbols, signals, lights and regulations should not present many problems.
At Duck-2-Water the online CEVNI test (CEVNI exam) can be taken on a test only basis if you already hold an ICC or you can take the test while attending one of the following courses: International Certificate of Competence up to 10m, Powerboat Level 2, Intermediate Powerboat, Advanced Powerboat, Helmsman, Day Skipper Practical, International Certificate of Competence < 24m, Coastal Skipper Practical, Yachtmaster preparation.
In person CEVNI tests can be schedule at anytime by prior arrangement for an additional fee.
Additional CEVNI Test / CEVNI Exam dates can be scheduled for groups of 3 or more.
Scheduled CEVNI Tests / CEVNI Exams are held in Ocean Village Marina Southampton, Hampshire UK and in the Solent area.
If you have a group (Minimum of 4 people) from your boat club, marina, boat crew or just friends then we can travel to you in the Solent area and provide a CEVNI Test / CEVNI Exam to suit your schedule. Please contact Duck-2-Water for further information.
Ability After the Course
Qualified to skipper a boat on the European Inland Waterways.
Requirements
Full knowledge of the European Waterways regulations including signs, symbols, signals and lights. We can post you the European Waterways Regulations book on request (for an additional charge).
