You will learn everything you need to know about powerboat seamanship and handling in a relaxed setting with a professional instructor. When you have finished the course, you will have greater confidence to handle your powerboat.
When you take the PB2 course with Duck-2-Water, qualified RYA instructors will provide training on a modern and fully-equipped powerboat. Your instructor will cover the following topics with you during your 2 days with him or her:

- Leaving and coming alongside

What Does the Powerboat Level 2 Cover?
This course takes place over two days in our training centre near Guildford. The first day will usually cover theory including various crafts and their advantages and disadvantages, emergencies, communication, safety and more.
On the second day, you will usually take the practical assessment where you will show you can handle a powerboat and carry out manoeuvres.
Requirements for the Course
The only requirement is that you are over 12. You do not need to take the Powerboat Level 1 Course, nor do you need any experience in powerboats.
