The RYA Powerboat Level 2 Course is a very popular course to take. Also called the Powerboat Handling Level 2, it covers everything you need to know about both the practical and theoretical aspects of using a powerboat, and you will also be able to apply for an ICC afterwards.
When you take the PB2 course with Duck-2-Water, qualified RYA instructors will provide training on a modern and fully-equipped powerboat. Your instructor will cover the following topics with you during your 2 days with him or her:

- Leaving and coming alongside

What Is Covered in the Powerboat Level 2 Course?
This course takes place over two days. The first day will normally cover the theory side of powerboating, including different types of boats, safety, emergencies, communication and more.
On the second day, you will usually have your practical assessment, where you will be tested on your abilities to handle the powerboat and carry out manoeuvres.
Are There Any Requirements?
The only requirement is that you are over 12 years of age. You do not need any experience with powerboats and you do not have to take the Powerboat Level 1 Course first.
