What Does The Powerboat Level 2 Course Cover?
This two-day course has both theory and practical components. The first day usually covers theory including different types of craft, their engines, trim labs and drives. It also covers emergencies, safety, communication and lots more.
The second day is usually when you will take the practical assessment, and this will test your handling abilities and your manoeuvring skills.
Requirements for the Course
You do not need any previous powerboat experience to take the RYA Powerboat Level 2 Course. The only requirement is that you are over 12 years of age.
